Michelle and Laura are both military Veterans who met 18 years ago while being stationed in Eastern North Carolina. After military service their families made ENC their forever home.
Michelle and Laura have joined their talents and skills to bring something different and unique to the Carteret County community.
What started as a fun hobby, and then a mobile charcuterie cart business idea has grown into so much more. With the help of many family, friends and business associates, they opened the cafe on May 3, 2025.
The cafe is the central hub of their business and offers a relaxed, fun environment perfect for date nights, business meetings, family meals, girls' night out events, and so much more. Need a quiet comfortable place to work or read and relax, our cafe is perfect.

Whether you are dining in or using one of our takeout options or catering services, you will always receive hand crafted, fresh ingredients, curated to elevate your charcuterie experience.
We collaborate with other small, local businesses to highlight the many services and products available in the community.
The cafe is decorated and stocked with local items from many local vendors and artists. Be sure to browse and shop our vendor displays while you visit.
We are located in the Broadcreek Plaza at 2969 Highway 24, Unit 2 in Newport, North Carolina. We are in between Morehead City and Cedar Point at the end of Nine Mile Road.
Minutes from Cape Carteret, Emerald Isle and Morehead City. We offer curbside pickup and delivery in the local area.
We believe that food should not only taste good but also be good for you. Each one of our charcuterie boards is beautifully curated with a large variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, flavorful meats and soft and hard cheeses to make healthy eating fun and exciting.
We believe in the power of food to bring people together, and we are committed to providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel at home.
We support other local businesses in the community and have a wide selection of unique items including, jewelry, soaps, candles, trinkets, and artwork from local vendors and artists available for purchase.
We offer individual charcuterie boards for dine in with breakfast, lunch and dinner options. We feature daily specials, including appetizer plates and salads.
Vegetarian and gluten-free options are available.
Take out services include curb-side pickup, delivery in the local area, and special orders for larger boards, boxes or catering options. We also specialize in grazing tables and have a mobile charcuterie cart for events.
We love events and interacting with our community. Be sure to check out one of our classes or reserve our space for your own get together. Perfect for business meetings or small, private gatherings.
Our unique vendors will be hosting classes to learn about their specialties; jewelry, candle, and art classes are some of the many events we will be hosting at our cafe.
We will also be offering classes to teach you how to pair your meat cheeses and different beverages.

Christine is a local artist in our community, specializing in laser cut art and custom design. She takes special orders and can bring any vision to life. Eleanor is a leader in the women business community and has started a women's co work/collective InventHer Studio where business owners can connect through her organization.
Willow Wood Works is a husband-and-wife business, specializing in carpentry and wood design items.
You can typically find their stuff: birdhouses, planters and benches displayed at the Cedar Point Market.
Charlee is a young and rising artist in the local community. She is a junior at Croatan High School in Newport.
Charlee's artwork was recently selected to be displayed at the district courthouse in New Bern, by Congressmen Murphy at the Congressional Art Competition. Charlee was also recently selected as a new board member for the local art council and has won multiple awards for her art.
Charlee painted our large charcuterie landscape piece which will remain at the cafe, but her other pieces are for sale.

We started a Homestead and fell in love with it. Three years ago, we bought a “fixer upper” house on 7 acres of land. We noticed year after year the large population of Eastern Bluebirds that lived on our property! We slowly grew our homestead and invested in goats to clear the land, chickens for eggs, a garden and honeybees! We quickly fell in love with our slow-paced lifestyle and how much peace it brought our family. It didn’t take long for us to begin benefiting from the products our livestock were producing daily. We found improvements in our overall health and we started creating. I have found such happiness in making healthy and natural products for our family and friends. We have learned that nothing in life is perfect, and we love how unique each product is. From our homestead to yours, we hope you enjoy our handcrafted and one of kind product.

Cafe Frutta Fresca Gelato is a Gelateria (Italian Ice Cream) manufacturer with a shared kitchen space restaurant, bakery, pizzeria, and retail souvenir shop in one in Sneads Ferry, NC. We sell our products wholesale and retail, farm produce, teach and offer tours of our facility. Book your event, rent our shared space or take a class with us to learn to make delicious European food, soups, pizza, panini sandwiches, crepes, quiche, fresh salads, as well as scrumptious desserts, gelato, ice cream and sorbet, pastries, specialty coffees like espresso and cappuccino, teas, handmade chocolates and much more.
